To try and improve the efficiency of our network connection, we have installed a caching server. This allows us to keep copies of some web pages and resources on our local network, meaning that when they are accessed again the loading or download speed will be much quicker (and use less of our bandwidth).
To access the internet correctly, you will need to install a security certificate. The steps are outlined below.
If you are at school, connect to our Guest Network. This network does not use our caching server. It is a restricted network, not intended for day-to-day use.
Alternatively, you can do this at home, to get ready for when you come to school.
Download this security certificate to your laptop. Make sure you know where on your laptop it has been save to!
